Afternoon Tea with City Cruises York
A delightful cruise aboard the Captain James Cook, with delicious food, sailing regularly from April to September.
Join us for a delightful 1 hour and 45 minute cruise with a selection of dainty home-made sandwiches, fruit scone with preserve & cream and delicious finger deserts. All served with freshly brewed tea and coffee. This cruise sails from our King’s Staith Landing only.
The cruise will also include an informative commentary from our local, knowledgeable skipper as you sail through the city and then downstream to Bishopthorpe Palace, the stunning riverside residence of His Grace the Archbishop of York. Relaxing background music will play between the live commentary.
These cruises proved incredibly popular when they were introduced in 2016 and we are proud to see them return again in 2018.

Our Captains may refuse to carry any passengers, or direct any passenger to disembark at another landing during the cruise, where the behaviour of that passenger is liable to cause nuisance or offence to the other passengers or put at risk the safety of the passenger, other passengers, crew or vessel.
