Riverain’ Book Launch & River Cruise – York Literature Festival On the Water - 23rd March
With Robert Powell & guests Abi Curtis, Ian Duhig, and Ben Crosthwaite. What better way to dip in to poet Robert Powell’s new collection Riverain than with a riverboat launch party? Inspired in part by York’s two rivers, this diverse collection is a dream-like journey through reality and metaphor, the present and the past. Join Robert with guest writers, musicians and others, for a creative water-themed evening on the River Ouse!

York Literature Festival/York Mix Poetry Competition Results Event with Andrew McMillan - 25th March
This year’s competition winners will be announced at a gala awards evening aboard one of City Cruises York’s fleet, the River Prince. A limited number of tickets will be made available to the public for this event, which will feature all the winning and commended poems, plus a reading from the judge, Andrew McMillan – and a fabulous cruise on the River Ouse!
